MADISON, WI (METRO) – Republican lawmakers in Madison are going to ask their next round of questions this week about the November election.
Wisconsin Elections Commission Administrator Meagan Wolfe is scheduled to appear before the Assembly’s Committee on Campaigns and Elections on Wednesday.
Lawmakers say they want to make sure that everyone followed the state’s election laws last fall.
There could also be questions for election managers from Green Bay. Committee members have expressed concern and cite questionable emails, that might indicate Green Bay’s election ballots might have been exposed to people with no authorization to handle them.
Green Bay Mayor Eric Genrich said last week that he will not attend the hearing because of a scheduling conflict.
