GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The debate over bringing students back into class more often then the current schedule is back on the agenda for the Green Bay School Board in a special meeting tonight.
Green Bay School Board could approve a plan as soon as today for middle and high school students to move to in-person classes four days per week.
For the past couple of weeks, middle and high school students are in-person two days per week, either Monday-Tuesday or Thursday-Friday, and online the other days.
But not so fast… Superintendent Stephen Murley says the district’s hybrid class model isn’t going away anytime soon, even though some parents say it’s time for all kids to return to class.
Murley says about 30 percent of kids continue to learn from home….and that’s too many kids to ignore.
Tonight’s meeting begins at 5 at District headquarters. The public can not attend in person but…
The open session portion of the meeting will be livestreamed on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrBxEp_9xzauvGyUydBvV9g.
