GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – A Green Bay woman is in custody in connection with a series of gas station armed robberies on the city’s east side.
Police are referring multiple counts of armed robbery, as well as marijuana possession against 24-year old Brittney Gunderson. No formal charges have been filed yet.
Gunderson is accused of robbing four gas stations at gunpoint on Sunday morning.
The investigation started just before 2 a.m. Sunday when officers responded to the Bay Beach Shell gas station at 1121 Radisson St.
It was reported a woman with a gun demanded money and got away with cash.
Just before 9 a.m. that same day, officers responded to two more robberies at the Pit Row Shell at 2030 University Ave. and the Main St. BP gas station at 1335 Main St.
While officers were checking the area for the suspect vehicle, another robbery was reported at the I.G. Mart at 1020 N. Irwin Ave.
During a search of the area around I.G. Mart, police spotted the suspect vehicle and after a short pursuit, the vehicle struck a curb and blew out a tire.
