PESHTIGO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A cat is recovering after a Marinette County highway worker saw it drop out of a moving truck.
The employee said the cat came out of a truck driving south on Highway 41 around 10 a.m. Monday. The employee told authorities the truck never stopped.
The cat, believed to be about two-years-old, was taken to the Countryside Veterinary Clinic where it is being treated for its injuries.
The Marinette County Sheriff’s Office says it’s investigating this incident as possible animal abuse.
