BARRON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Documents from the investigation into the kidnapping of Jayme Closs were released late Friday afternoon.
Closs was kidnapped from her Barron County home in October of 2018. She was held for more than 80 days by Jake Patterson.
Closs’s parents were murdered the same night she was kidnapped.
Earlier this year Patterson was convicted of the crimes and sentenced to life in prison without parole.
Now more than one year after the murder and kidnapping, state and local authorities have released hundreds of pages of reports, as well as hours of video and audio recordings.
The documents include 911 calls, photographs, and police bodycam recordings.
