GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Former Green Bay Police Chief Howard Erickson has died. He was 84.
Erickson started his career with the Whitefish Bay Police Department before moving to Green Bay in 1963.
According to his obituary, Erickson was promoted to chief in 1985 and retired in 1990.
He is survived by his wife, three children, and four grandchildren.
Visitation is at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Agnes Church, 1484 Ninth St., until the funeral at 11 a.m.
A memorial fund has been established in his name at Family Services of Northeast WI- Sexual Assault Center.
