16-year-old Grant Fuhrman is charged with one count of attempted first-degree intentional homicide.
According to the criminal complaint, Fuhrman confronted resource officer Michael Wissink in December, in Wissink’s office at the school.
Officials say Fuhrman asked Wissink to look up information on his computer, and as Wissink started to search, authorities say he was stabbed.
Officer Wissink then fired his gun twice, hitting Furhman.
Both Fuhrman and Wissink suffered non-life-threatenig injuries. Wissink spent several days in the hospital.
The stabbing and shooting caused Oshkosh West high school to be evacuated, and nearby schools were put on lockdown.
Today’s hearing will be a status conference.
Later this month, Fuhrman will be back in court to find out if he’ll go to trial.
If convicted, he faces up to 60 years in prison.
