FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ) – A former Fond du Lac resident is now in custody in connection to the death of a 2-month old girl.
Fond du Lac Police detectives located the woman in the City of Milwaukee, where she was taken into custody on Thursday. Her name has not yet been released.
The woman could be charged with homicide in the death of Rehloari Pankey-Brown. Just before 1:00 a.m. on June 25th, 2018 – Fond du Lac Police responded to a home along East Merrill Avenue for a report of an infant choking. Officers found the child not breathing and attempted life-saving CPR. Pankey-Brown was taken to St. Agnes Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
An autopsy determined the cause of death as a result of homicide.
