GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Green Bay Southwest High School Counselor has been formally charged with secretly videotaping 15 people in a school bathroom, including one student.
An initial appearance for Todd Naze was scheduled for Monday.
According to the criminal complaint, “Todd set up an iPod in the bathroom to film people using the toilet. There was a desk or dresser in the bathroom. Todd affixed the iPod to the inside of a drawer with the camera on the iPod facing out in order to film the toilet. Todd filmed sporadically from August 2016 until about April or May of 2018 when (his wife) found the files and confronted him about it. This is when he stopped the filming.”
“Todd admitted to taking the images because he did not like the people at work. The images and videos were of people at work who did not respect him and that “this is what happens when you do not respect me.”,” the complaint says.
The images allegedly came to police attention following an argument between Naze and his wife.
Police asked the victims to verify it was them recorded on the video. One of the victims is a former student, who would have been 17 at the time of the recording.
If convicted of all counts, he faces up to 61 years in prison.
