OCONTO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Suring man has been formally charged with repeatedly sexually assaulting a child.
John E. Fredenburgh, 36, was charged Tuesday with 17 total felonies: three counts of repeated sexual assault of a child, five counts of second-degree sexual assault of a child under 16, use of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, five counts of child enticement, causing mental harm to a child, causing a child over 13 to view or listen to sexual activity and felony intimidation of a victim.
Fredenburgh was arrested Feb. 28. He is being held on a $1 million cash bond.
He is due back in court on Friday.
