GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A Green Bay business is starting 2020 off in a new space.
Digital marketing company, Leighton Interactive, held a ribbon cutting for its new office in the Rail Yard District Tuesday.
The company’s president, Dan Soldner, says the move will allow the company to expand and hire more people.
Soldner tells FOX 11 he wanted to be a part of the area’s growth.
“We set a goal to land clients and grow our company so we could sign a lease and when we went and looked around town, we were still very drawn to the Rail Yard because, well, making an old building cool again but also just the vision that Paul and Brent have for this and it’s a growing area, there’s a lot of innovative, new, young businesses happening here and we wanted to be a part of it.”
Leighton Interactive is one of many businesses calling the Rail Yard District home. Since 2015, the area has added nearly 300 employees, 26 new businesses and $95 million of committed investment.
Leaders behind the project say they want to bring it at least 50 more businesses to the area.
