FOX CROSSING, WI (WTAQ) – Two people are in custody in connection to a Lake Winnebago Area Metropolitan (LWAM) Drug Unit investigation.
An active investigation into a home along Strohmeyer Court in Fox Crossing was conducted, including controlled purchases of crack cocaine. The seller was identified as Leslie Howard, whose source of supply was reportedly her son, Tylor Johnson.
Fox Crossing Police pulled over Johnson’s vehicle on Monday, where a Grand Chute Police K9 was requested – and then alerted after sniffing the vehicle. During a search, officers found $3,533 cash in Johnson’s wallet. The money and 2018 Dodge Charger were seized as Johnson was taken into custody.
A search warrant was then executed at the home on Strohmeyer Court, where a total of five people including Howard were detained. Officers seized crack cocaine, powder cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, high-end wristwatches, identifiers, and an additional $2,000.
Howard was taken into custody while the other four were released.
The Lake Winnebago Area Metropolitan Drug Unit is still investigating the incident.
