MILWAUKEE, WI (Wisconsin Radio Network-WSAU) The latest Marquette Law School Poll shows that Wisconsinites haven’t changed their minds much about impeachment or the upcoming Presidential election.
40 percent of respondents say the President should be impeached, and 52 percent were opposed. 6-percent are undecided. That’s nearly unchanged from last month, and is down from 44-percent favoring impeachment before the hearings began.
Donald Trump’s job approval rating in Wisconsin is 47-percent.
Respondents to the poll have been holding steady when it comes to head to head match ups between President Trump and all of the main Democrat candidates.
Joe Biden holds a small lead against Trump but that’s within the margin of error. Biden, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and Pete Buttigieg round out the top 4 Democrats for Wisconsin voters.
The poll surveyed 800 likely voters, and has a margin of error of 4-percent.
