BELLEVUE, WI (WTAQ) — A number of area firefighters battled a house fire in Bellevue Tuesday.
It was called in as an explosion when it was first reported around 2:30.
The house at 2084 Spring Creek Circle is likely a total loss. It’s not clear what started the fire, but neighbors reported hearing several explosions as the fire began.
De Pere, Denmark, Green Bay, Ledgeview, and County Rescue personnel assisted in fighting the blaze. It took about 30 minutes to get the fire under control. Fire units were on scene for about three hours.
Nobody was home at the time. A pet dog was killed in the blaze.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
