NEENAH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Voters in the Neenah school district will be able to learn more about the April 7th, $114.9 million referendum at four informational sessions.
District officials say the meetings will include a 20-minute presentation, a question-and-answer session and a tour of the building.
The meetings are scheduled for:
Monday, Feb. 17, 6 p.m., Neenah High School cafeteria
Wednesday, March 11, 6 p.m., Shattuck Middle School cafeteria
Wednesday, March 25, 10 a.m., Neenah High School cafeteria
Tuesday, March 31, 6 p.m., Shattuck Middle School cafeteria
The district approved the referendum in December. If voters pass it, the district would close Shattuck, build a new high school, convert the existing high school into a middle school and convert Horace Mann Middle School into an elementary school.
If approved, property taxes would increase by $99 for every $100,000 of value for up to 20 years.
Last spring, voters rejected a $130 million referendum.
