OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – The man accused of injuring an Oshkosh police officer has now been formally charged.
29-year old Cornelius Pearson of Milwaukee faces charges for Resisting An Officer Causing A Soft Tissue Injury To Officer, Repeater; Possession of THC-2nd and Subsequent Offense; and Obstructing An Officer, Repeater.
Pearson reportedly fought with officers as they tried taking him into custody along Robin Avenue early Tuesday morning. He’s accused of choking one of the officers, causing injury to the officer’s neck.
