GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Green Bay Metro firefighters responded to reports of a residential structure fire along the 1400 block of South Locust Street Monday morning.
When crews arrived just after 10:50 a.m., they found smoke coming from the eaves and roof as fire vented from a rear basement window. The flames reached into the attic and through the roof before it could be extinguished.
Nobody was home at the time of the fire, and nobody was injured. The current damage estimates are around $120,000. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
