GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – At least five people have been sentenced for a series of burglaries at an empty Ledgeview home.
Police discovered more than a dozen entries to home during the summer of 2019. In several of the incidents, items were stolen from the home, including a chandelier, encyclopedias, fur coat, coin collection, toy train, watches, a stamp collection, books, and more.
Among those convicted and sentenced:
Kayla Eagle was convicted of five counts of theft and criminal trespass. She was placed on probation for two years.
Seth Owens was convicted of theft and criminal trespass. He was placed on probation for two years.
Sydnee Wendlendt was convicted of five counts of theft and criminal trespass. She was placed on probation for two years.
Bruce Nero was convicted of criminal damage to property and bail jumping. He was sentenced to four years on probation.
Justin Hamilton was convicted of criminal trespass and theft. He was placed on probation for two years and ordered to perform 100 hours of community service.
Police used security camera footage from the home to document the crimes.
