SHOTO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A SWAT team is dealing with a person who has barricaded themself in near Shoto.
The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office says the standoff is on Johnston Drive, south of Shoto. Roads are closed off in the area.
“The situation is contained and the public is not in danger. We are asking the public to stay away from the area,” Sheriff Dan Hartwig said in a news release.
Hartwig said more information would be released after the situation is resolved.
Shoto is northwest of Two Rivers and south of Mishicot.
