FOND DU LAC COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is seeking public feedback on two proposed projects to improve Interstate 41 in Fond du Lac County.
The DOT says it’s looking to repair 6.75 miles of the interstate between Highway 151 and the Fond du Lac/Dodge County line.
The project includes highway and ramp resurfacing, culvert replacements and new cable and beam guard, with lane closures planned.
A second project seeks to replace the Town Line Road overpass deck — northwest of Fond du Lac — due to deterioration. The interstate will remain open, but Town Line Road will be closed during construction.
Construction for both projects is scheduled for 2023, according to the DOT.
More information about the projects and forms for comment are available online.
