GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – About 8,000 fans will be in the stands Saturday when the Green Bay Packers take on the Los Angeles Rams at Lambeau Field.
For those attending the game, things will be a little different due to coronavirus precautions.
Aaron Popkey, Packers director of public affairs, tells FOX 11 there are some rules to follow.
“Among the new protocols are: wearing masks, physically distancing, no carry-ins and no tailgating. Also for fans new this season, Lambeau Field is now cashless.”
Popkey also has some advice for fans ahead of the game.
“Be loud. Bring your outside voice, times several times, to make up for the reduced crowd”.
If the Packers win, the NFC Championship game would be played next Sunday at Lambeau Field…but Popkey says the team will not allow anymore fans in the stadium than they’ll have Saturday.
