GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — What could be hundreds of Green Bay Area School District parents will gather in front of the school district’s offices in hopes of bringing their children back into the classroom after months of virtual learning.
“We are just trying to get our children the education they deserve because the current virtual world is failing us,” said Brook Andrews, who is involved with the effort. “The PPE is there. The experts, the professionals, the scientists all say that kids should be back in schools, and that is where they should be.”
The failure rate in Green Bay schools is up by almost double this year amid all-virtual learning.
Several speakers including teachers and doctors, will be in attendance.
The rally comes ahead of Monday’s school board meeting and will be held on Saturday afternoon, beginning at 1.
