HOUSTON, TX (WTAQ) – One week after one of their worst performance of the season the Green Bay Packers come up with one of their best.
Riding a career best day for receiver Davante Adams, four touchdown passes from Aaron Rodgers, and some timely plays by the defense, the Packers beat the Texans 35-20 in Houston Sunday.
Adams caught a pair of touchdown passes from Rodgers and totaled 196 receiving yards for the game. Jamaal Williams rushed for over 100 yards to keep the offense balanced both on the ground and through the air.
With the victory, the Packers improve to 5 & 1 on the season.
Green Bay will play at Lambeau Field for the first time in weeks next Sunday when they host host the division rival Minnesota Vikings.
Kickoff is set for Noon.
