MENOMINEE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Menominee Tribal Police say they’ve identified the remains of a person found in an abandoned vehicle in August and they are looking for a person of interest in the case.
On Aug. 19, 2020, police were called for a report of an abandoned, burned vehicle. Inside, officials found the remains of a person.
On Wednesday, investigators received confirmation that the remains belong to 24-year-old Stephanie Greenspon of Green Bay.
Now investigators are looking for 34-year-old Emerson K. “Kelo” Reed for questioning related to the case.
Reed is described as a Native American man, 5’6” tall and weighing 210 pounds. He is possibly in the Green Bay/Oneida Reservation area.
If you see Reed, please do not approach him as he has multiple warrants and may be dangerous. Call 911 or your local authorities to report it.
