APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Two Illinois men are charged following their arrest in Appleton last week.
On Oct. 14, Appleton SWAT officers helped detectives from Aurora, Illinois arrest Timothy Parker, 19, and Richard Gaston, 18, at a home in the 1500 block of E. Calumet Street.
The arrest operation caused a brief closure of the street.
The next day, the Illinois state attorney’s office formally charged both suspects with attempted murder, armed robbery, and aggravated battery with a firearm.
No local charges will be referred against the men.
