The Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) announced a new case of CWD on a deer farm in Burnett County. The positive case came from a four-year-old whitetail buck within the herd. In order to be safe, DATCP decided to quarantine all 19 of the deer on the farm. This means that no animals or carcasses are allowed to leave the farm until the quarantine’s over with.
