GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Police in Green Bay are warning that the public is in danger because of a series of shootings in recent days.
Police Commander Paul Ebel Monday says they’ve been lucky that eight shootings over the past six days have only injured one person.
But he also says that could quickly change.
He says people are shooting at each other in cars, in parking lots, and on the streets. And it won’t take much for an innocent bystander to be shot or killed.
Police are not sure what is driving the spike in shootings, though they say it has been a violent year in Green Bay overall.
