OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The trial date has been moved, again, for the man accused of killing Kevin “Hollywood” Hein at a Neenah bar.
Casey Cameron faces seven counts, including first-degree intentional homicide, for allegedly killing Hein Oct. 14 at the Short Branch Saloon.
Trial had been scheduled for March 15, then March 1. At a hearing Thursday, it was rescheduled for Feb 22, due to a conflict on the court’s calendar, court records show.
The trial is scheduled to last five days.
Cameron allegedly went to the Short Branch Saloon to commit an armed robbery. Hein followed Cameron out of the bar, when Cameron allegedly shot him, according to the complaint. Police matched DNA from a bandanna left at the scene with DNA found on a cigarette Cameron tossed from a vehicle as he was being followed by police.
