Demarvis Johnson (Brown Co. Jail)
GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A dispute about the poor quality of marijuana sold in a drug deal led to a shooting Sunday on Green Bay’s west side, according to the criminal complaint.
Demarvis Johnson, 17, is charged with attempted first-degree intentional homicide, obstructing, and four counts of bail jumping. An initial court appearance is set for Thursday afternoon.
The victim told police he bought marijuana for $100, but wanted his money back because of the quality of the drugs. Johnson then allegedly shot the customer, the complaint states.
The 18-year-old victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
On Tuesday, Johnson was arrested following a search in a Green Bay neighborhood.
