Normally at the state fair, they ask people to bring food or monetary donations that go to the Hunger Task Force to help those in need. Even though the fair was cancelled this year, they still wanted to give people the opportunity to give back.
Now through September 4th, people can give donations to Hunger Task Force’s Wisconsin Dairy Recovery Program. The goal of the program is to give dairy products to food pantries all over the state so people keep dairy in their diets. When someone donates, they’ll receive tickets to the 2021 Wisconsin State Fair. It’s a win-win.
If you want to donate and grab some state fair tickets for next year, check out the Hunger Task Force website.
