GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — You may notice more police out on the streets and highways starting Friday.
The Wisconsin State Patrol along with local enforcement agencies are going to be out in force for the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign.
“We want to make sure that we’re keeping our community safe,” “Being that people are spending more time at their homes, we do see there is an issue with alcohol and drugs.”
The enforcement effort will involve over 5,000 specially trained law enforcement officers.
The effort lasts through labor day.
