GRAND CHUTE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — It’s a sign of economic growth in the Fox Valley.
Prospera Credit Union broke ground Wednesday on its new Grand Chute facility on Integrity Way.
It’s the company’s sixth branch location and will focus on consultative services.
Sheila Schinke, CEO of Prospera Credit Union, says members of the credit union will be happy to see a west side Appleton location again after one previously closed more than ten years ago.
And despite the coronavirus pandemic, Schinke says they are very excited to move forward with the groundbreaking.
“We’ve been really, really busy, whether it’s with the members impacted by COVID and trying to help them, as well as those that haven’t been, maybe hasn’t necessarily impacted their eager to take advantage of the lower interest rates, so it’s been really busy for us,” Schinke said.
Construction is expected to be complete in the spring of 2021.
