GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – A Green Bay School Board member will now compete for a seat in the Wisconsin State Assembly.
Kristina Shelton defeated incumbent Representative Staush Gruszynski in the Democratic Partisan Primary on Tuesday.
With all 25 precincts reporting, Shelton led Gruszynski in votes 3,620 to 971. That’s about 79% to 21%.
Shelton will face Republican Drew Kirsteatter in the November general election.
