ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ) – The man arrested following a large police presence in Green Bay on Monday is facing a recommended charge of Attempted 1st Degree Intentional Homicide.
Casey Fulton is accused of shooting another man along the 1300 block of Alice Drive in Ashwaubenon on July 24th. Around 7:05 p.m. that evening, officers located an adult male with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. The victim was stabilized by Ashwaubenon Dept. of Public Safety Officers and transported to an area hospital.
Investigation led officers to identify Fulton as the shooter. They eventually found his minivan at a liquor store in Green Bay, but did not find Fulton.
Monday morning, investigators saw Fulton leave an apartment on Lime Kiln Road in Green Bay. He got into a vehicle, and officers pulled it over. Fulton then got out and ran off. Local and federal officials searched for Fulton and found him in a garage on Oakdale Avenue in Green Bay.
