BROWN COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — People took a scavenger hunt throughout Brown County on Saturday.
The Brown County Historical Society sponsored the “Roaring Twenties Road Rally.”
People dressed up in 1920s-themed outfits and went to historical-type places throughout Brown County, like Bay Beach Amusement Park and The Automobile Gallery.
The goal was to learn more about what life was like in Brown County at the time.
“It’s all in favor of learning more about Brown County history,” said Brooke Uhl, the historical society’s program manager. “We have such a great history here that we want to share it with people, and get people to places that they may have never been before.”
Participants received clues, did puzzles, re-enacted photos with selfies, and did ‘20s-themed dances.
