MENASHA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Two people were arrested Wednesday after being accused of keeping a woman in a Menasha home.
Officers went to the home on the city’s east side after discovering a Facebook post from a Milwaukee woman that claimed her sister was being held against her will by “drug people.”
Upon arrival, officers interviewed the woman, who stated a 32-year-old Oshkosh man and a 24-year-old Appleton woman had accused her of stealing money. She also stated the pair kept her in a room for several hours, guarding the door to prevent her from leaving.
Both suspects were arrested on probation holds and face false imprisonment, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest charges. The victim was not injured and was transported home by relatives.
