FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ) – Residents inside seven apartment units are now displaced after a fire races through a Fond Du Lac apartment complex early this morning (TUE).
Firefighters were initially called to an apartment building on Forest Avenue for reports of smoke coming from the back of the building.
When crews arrived, there was an active fire in a third-floor apartment.
Fire Chief Peter O’Leary says there’s quite a bit of damage to the unit.
No one was hurt. The cause of the fire is under investigation
