MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ) – From fan cutouts in the stands to live streaming practices, the Milwaukee Brewers are finding ways to give fans the ultimate baseball experience.. from home.
President of Business Operations Rick Schlesinger says even though fans won’t be in the seats this season, their faces will be, in the form of cutouts.
The initial sale of the two-foot images was a sellout in just 90 minutes last week. “The Cutout Crew” was installed Thursday night, joining the Bob Uecker “Last Row” statue as a virtual fan base at the very top of Miller Park.
Schlesinger says fans are also able to see video and images of practice and upcoming games with live streams on Facebook and the Brewers website.
The Brewers are set to return to action for a 60 game season beginning July 24th. They’ll face the Cubs in Chicago.
The first home game is July 31st against the Cardinals.
