Michael Miller (Fond du Lac County Jail)
FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The man police say committed a dozen arsons in the Fond du Lac area was ordered Friday to stand trial.
Michael Miller, 44, waived a preliminary hearing on 27 charges — including 12 counts of arson — for fires from last September until April, court records show. An arraignment date was not listed.
After he was identified as a suspect, Miller admitted to setting nine of the fires, according to the criminal complaint. He said he would set various items on fire, including a rag, men’s underwear and women’s underwear.
Miller allegedly set fires set on:
- Sept. 19 in North Fond du Lac
- Feb. 17 in Friendship
- Dec. 3 in Fond du Lac
- Dec. 9 in Fond du Lac
- Dec. 14 in Fond du Lac
- Dec. 28 in Fond du Lac
- March 19 in Fond du Lac
- March 20 in North Fond du Lac
- March 20 in North Fond du Lac
- March 20 in Friendship
- March 20 in North Fond du Lac
- April 8 in Fond du Lac
Miller also faces five counts for possession of child pornography for images found on his phone.
