There was $50 million in aid for Wisconsin farmers through the Wisconsin Farm Support Program. The interesting thing is that only 56% of eligible farmers applied. When it comes to actual numbers, 14,543 applied before the deadline of June 30.
In order to be eligible, farmers had to have a gross income between $35,000 to $5 million. After they successfully applied, they were able to get a one-time payment of $1,000 to $3,500.
The payments are planned to be given out in the middle of July.
