GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — The bridge carrying Mason Street over the East River will be closing on Monday for maintenance.
Green Bay Public Works Director Steve Grenier tells WTAQ that the work on the bridge is routine, and that it isn’t in any structural danger. Crews will be replacing the bridge deck, last replaced in the early 90s.
The work is expected to take until August 21st.
E Mason St will be closed from Baird St to Bellevue St. Detour will be established via Baird St and Main St. Access to local businesses and residents will be maintained at all times throughout the duration of the closure.
