MARINETTE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Wausaukee man was sentenced to 181.5 years in prison and 102 years of extended supervision for sexually assaulting a child for nearly a decade.
Clifton Kirkpatrick, 37, was convicted on multiple counts regarding sexual assault of a child for offenses occurring between January 2016 to February of 2025.
Kirkpatrick was found guilty after a two-day jury trial in August.
The victim was between the ages of 5 and 14 at the time of the assaults.
Marinette County judge James Morrison sentenced Kirkpatrick to the maximum available time on all counts, stating Kirkpatrick needed the maximum amount of time available in prison to protect the public, to punish the defendant and to send a clear message that sexual assaults of children will be dealt with seriously.
