Dec. 1 grant application deadline for programs educating dairy producers, students and communities
Juneau, Wis. – New education or outreach programs can start with a simple idea. Whether it is a need that isn’t being met or a different way to reach an existing audience, Dairy’s Foundation is inviting organizations across the country to turn new ideas into action through its grant program. Applications are now open through Dec. 1, 2026.
Grants of up to $10,000 are available to support educational initiatives that strengthen the dairy industry, develop the next generation of dairy leaders and professionals or build greater understanding of dairy among consumers and communities.
“Some of the most valuable programs begin by identifying a need and finding a new way to address it,” said Floyd Sutton, chair of Dairy’s Foundation board of directors. “These grants give organizations an opportunity to develop programs that can make a difference for dairy producers, students and the public.”
Since 2010, Dairy’s Foundation has awarded more than $375,000 to programs designed to address educational needs and provide resources for people connected to dairy. Grants have supported initiatives ranging from producer education and leadership development to programs that connect students and communities with agriculture.
Applications will be reviewed by an independent grant-selection committee. Organizations with a tax status of 501(c)(3) or (5) may apply.
Please share the grant information with organizations that might benefit. Complete grant information is available at www.dairyfoundation.org/grant-seekers. Inquiries about Dairy’s Foundation grants can be sent to info@dairyfoundation.org.
