GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — The Green Bay Packers have gotten revenge on the Chicago Bears for last year’s playoff loss, rolling to a 31-to-7 victory at Lambeau Field on Sunday. Quarterback Jordan Love threw for 367 yards and two touchdowns, both to Christian Watson, who hauled in scoring passes of 42 and 53 yards. Running back MarShawn Lloyd also scored twice as Green Bay improved to 3-and-2 on the season.
The Packers forced five turnovers, including two interceptions by Xavier McKinney, as Chicago struggled without injured starting quarterback Caleb Williams. Backup Tyson Bagent threw for just 87 yards before Case Keenum took over in the fourth quarter. The Bears turned the ball over on four straight second-half possessions. Green Bay also got a career-best 123 receiving yards from rookie Matthew Golden.
The win comes after the Packers lost three of their previous four meetings with Chicago, including a playoff defeat last season. Green Bay now heads to Tampa Bay on October 4.
