(MILWAUKEE BUCKS) – The Milwaukee Bucks have signed John Butler Jr.
A 7-0, 220-pound center, Butler Jr. appeared in 49 NBA G League games (40 starts) with the Wisconsin Herd last season and averaged 9.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.7 blocks in 28.6 minutes per game.
In 147 career G League games (74 starts) with Wisconsin, Capital City and Stockton, he has recorded 7.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.0 assist and 1.7 blocks in 25.4 minutes per game.
He played in three games (two starts) with Milwaukee in the 2026 California Classic Summer League, posting 5.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.0 steal and 2.0 blocks in 19.1 minutes per game, and suited up for the Bucks in five NBA 2K26 Las Vegas Summer League contests.
Undrafted out of Florida State, Butler Jr. appeared in 19 games (one start) with the Portland Trail Blazers during the 2022-23 season.
