GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — For the third week in a row, the Farmers’ Market on Broadway is canceled Wednesday due to forecasted severe weather.
With the most up-to-date weather information available, we have made the decision to cancel tonight’s Farmers’ Market on Broadway, Wednesday, July 8. This decision comes with knowledge of a forecasted risk for severe weather during market hours, including the potential for strong, damaging winds and heavy rain that could lead to localized flooding.
Out of an abundance of caution, canceling the market is the safest decision for our vendors, customers, volunteers, and staff. All scheduled vendors have been directly contacted regarding this decision.
Organizers say all weather-related absences during the 2026 market season will not count against the market attendance policy and vendors who choose not to attend due to extreme heat or severe weather will not be penalized.
We hope that next week will bring more favorable weather.
The strongest of the storms is expected to be in the late afternoon and evening.
The primary threats are heavy rainfall and damaging straight line winds.
Heavy rain could lead to flash flooding.
