(247NEWSSOURCE/LEARFIELD) – The Athletics beat the Milwaukee Brewers 7-5 in Las Vegas Tuesday night.
Tyler Soderstrom and Henry Bolte each hit a two-run homer for the A’s, while Nick Kurtz, Jonah Heim and Zack Gelof added a solo shot each.
J.T. Ginn got the win after he allowed five runs over five-and-a-third innings and Mason Barnett secured his first save.
Jackson Chourio and Sal Frelick each drove in a pair of runs in the Milwaukee setback.
Robert Gasser surrendered six runs over five innings to get the loss.
Gasser said that after the Athletics hit 7 home runs on Monday, he knew that they would be a problem.
Gasser talked about the 4 home runs he gave up in 5 innings.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy talked about Gasser’s performance.
The Brewers had their four-game winning streak snapped to fall to 41-and-24 this season.
The final game of the series will be played tonight with Brandon Sproat starting for the Brewers. He is 1-4 with a 6.17 ERA.
The Athletics will counter with Jack Perkins who is 2-3 with a 6.19 ERA.
