(UW ATHLETICS) – The Wisconsin volleyball team adds libero Anna Bardaro from Cittadella, Italy, announced by head coach Kelly Sheffield.
The 5-foot-10 libero comes from Cittadella, Italy while playing for club Cuneo Granda Volley of the Italian A1 league.
“I’m excited to announce Anna will be joining our team,” said Badger head coach Kelly Sheffield. “She is a very good passer and experienced Libero. It’s a position that we’ve looked to bulk up our depth and she certainly helps that. She will be joining us early this summer which will be huge in her working her way into our team and culture.”
This 2025-26 season, Bardaro played with Italy’s women’s National U-21 team, and helped the team win the Imoco Volley Concgliano at the most recent FIVB Volleyball Women’s U21 World Championships. Bardaro also has National experience in the Italian Super Cup, CEV Women’s Championships League, and the World Club Championships.
Bardaro will join the Badgers this summer.
