Nicholas N. Grundman (Outagamie Co. Jail)
GREENVILLE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Deputies say a suspicious Greenville garage fire led to an attempted homicide, arson arrest for man apparently targeting his estranged wife.
Nicholas Grundman, 47, was taken into custody Tuesday on recommend charges of first-degree attempted homicide, arson, stalking, three counts of criminal damage to property and carrying a concealed weapon.
No formal charges have been filed.
On March 19, firefighters were called to a home in Greenville for a fire in an attached garage. The homeowner was inside at the time of the fire.
Suspicious circumstances led investigators to believe this was not an accidental fire. The investigation eventually led to the arrest of Grundman.
Outagamie County records list the address as a home on Fawn Ridge Court. Court records list that address for Grundman and his estranged wife in divorce proceedings.
