PEMBINE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — One person was killed and three others injured in a house fire in Pembine.
Shortly after 6 a.m. Tuesday, first responders were dispatched to a residential structure fire at W9039 Holmes Junction Road in the town of Pembine.
Firefighters searched the home during suppression efforts and located a man inside. He was removed from the residence and pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities identified him as Roy Newling, 30.
Three other occupants — a 30-year-old woman, a 9-year-old child and a 2-year-old child, were transported for medical care.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
